Visiting ARTIX for the first time is an opportunity to discover contemporary art in an intimate and welcoming setting. As a hotel art fair, ARTIX transforms hotel rooms and shared spaces into curated art environments, bringing together artists, galleries, collectors and art lovers.
With so much to see, knowing what to expect can help you make the most of your visit.
Explore ARTIX at Your Own Pace
There is no set route through the fair. Take your time walking through the hotel and exploring each participating room or exhibition space.
Every room offers a different selection of artworks, artists and perspectives. Begin by noticing what catches your attention, then return to the pieces you would like to experience more closely.
Discover Artists and Galleries
ARTIX brings together a diverse range of contemporary artists and galleries. You may encounter paintings, sculpture, photography, textiles, mixed media and other forms of artistic expression.
The fair is designed to encourage discovery, so take the opportunity to explore artists whose work may be unfamiliar to you.
Meet the People Behind the Art
One of the most valuable aspects of ARTIX is the opportunity to speak directly with artists, gallery representatives and other members of the art community.
You can ask about an artist’s background, creative process, materials, inspiration or the story behind a particular artwork. You do not need specialist knowledge to start a conversation—curiosity is enough.
Experience Art in a Hotel Setting
Unlike a traditional gallery, ARTIX presents art within hotel rooms and other intimate spaces. This creates a more relaxed and personal way to experience contemporary art.
The artworks interact with the room’s architecture, furniture and lighting, allowing visitors to imagine how different pieces might look in a home, office or other interior.
Can You Buy Art at Artix
Yes, you can. Many artworks presented at ARTIX are available for purchase. If you find a piece that interests you, speak with the artist or gallery representative to learn more about its price, availability, materials, dimensions and documentation.
There is no pressure to buy. You are welcome to browse, ask questions and take time to decide whether an artwork is right for you.
Enjoy the ARTIX Experience
ARTIX is not a test of how much you know about art. It is a chance to discover new artists, encounter different ideas and connect with the contemporary art community.
Arrive with an open mind, take your time and allow yourself to explore. Whether you are an experienced collector or visiting an art fair for the first time, ARTIX offers an engaging and intimate way to experience contemporary art.
